DOES TWITTER HAVE A LEGACY POLICY?

I have a modest following (by my standards) of 247 twitterers.
But there's a problem.
The list includes 6 deceased (so far - not finished counting), so - interesting possibilities:
1) Are they still following; or
2) Does Twitter not have a legacy policy?
